GM Recalls an Additional 3.36 Million Cars

GM has announced a new recall for 3.36 million vehicles. As with a number of recalls issued by GM this year, the issue revolves around a faulty ignition switch. In this newest recall, the faulty ignition can result in an electrical shutdown, even when the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk for serious or fatal car accidents.

Vehicles included in this latest GM recall are:

  • Model years 2005-2009 Buick Lacrosse
  • Model years 2006-2011 Buick Lucerne
  • Model years 2004-2005 Buick Regal LS and RS
  • Model years 2000-2005 Cadillac Deville
  • Model years 2004-2001 Cadillac DTS
  • Model years 2006-2014 Chevrolet Impala
  • Model years 2006-2008 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
